Winter, I developed the same sense of partnership over time. Now it is more like the two of us are combined to make the "real person" that we are in the physical world. It might seem counterintuitive to the very idea of making a separate identity that we both are parts of a single "person" but that's also one of the possible end goals of a tulpa to consider.
yeah, tulpas are lazy pricks xD
inb4 the whole server, every single one of the multi systems: "What the fuck did you just say about me, you little bitch?"
I believe that was kind of the original purpose at the beginning. So even though tulpas are expected to deviate, it isn't hopeless for you to make a tulpa with a specific goal. If it is a core motivation and intrinsic to their sense of self, they will not deviate away and will more likely deviate to better suit their motivations.
For tulpas that work in the real world, there is some good to specializing. Some may be the emotional support, others may be the physical worker, others can be the one to deal with socializing. There's no problem with this sort of compartmentalization, but I would be careful not to let this be an excuse to allow any personality's general broad development to atrophy while focusing in on a specific context to master

Self improvement is a realistic goal for the beginner, after all ^^_^^
I hear tulpish but am unsure of whether I am doing it or not
Sometimes I know it's her, but other times I'm not so sure. Especially since I only hear her when I put all my focus toward her
Is there a good way around this?
my first experience was in the shower about a week ago in relation to the wl. I know that one was her but I've had others where it doesn't feel as distinct as the first time, it feels more like normal thoughts
the philosophical belief that physical entities and mental entities both exist and are not reducible to each other (this is not related to tulpas in any way btw)

well...I guess it does have ramifications regarding tulpas
@Deleted User Dualism is the idea that the brain and mind are literally separate. As if there is some non-physical "stuff" that cannot be detected or tested through any physical means, but somehow also simultaneously has a physical effect (and vice versa) on the brain.
Oh, it could be. People tend to believe that you can "think" without needing a brain in this way, though naturally the mechanism is entirely unsubstantiated. Or, that the brain is some kind of radio antenna or similar. I don't know all the claims of dualism, but the base concept is that the brain is physical, but the actual mind of the person isn't.
[The mind just exists. It having a physical effect can be a separate thing. Like a physical effect of the brain makes another physical effect. But it also gives you the subjective experience of having a mind which functionally is just the subjective experience of mental effects and so is a separate thing from the physical brain even though it's dependent on it.]
also, what is dual processing the most comparable to? (plz, don't chew me out Sous, it's just that I'm trying to compare the brain to the thing that I mostly know)
a) MIMD (Multiple Instruction, Multiple Data) (aka you and your tulpa can do different things and have different inputs (ex. host percieves the real world, tulpa percieves wonderland))
b) MISD (Multiple Instruction, Single Data) (aka you and your tulpa can do different things but have the same, real world inputs)
c) you're totally bonkers and didn't understand the concept, let me explain it to you better?
Other than "Talk to your tulpa about essentially anything as long as you aren't actively being disrespectful to them" and "Please don't make assumptions", no.
